7K a year Duties/responsibilities Maintains patient safety Demonstrates ability to manage patient care on a day-to-day basis, which includes assisting with transfers into residential programming, as well as ensuring that patients attend all groups and appointments Helps provide and maintain therapeutic community for patients Displays a knowledge of the 12 step model of recovery and the ability to apply these principles when working with patients Facilitates and/or co-facilitates group as assigned Demonstrates good crisis management skills and good judgment in dealing with difficult situations.
Can demonstrate appropriate crisis de-escalation skills Displays confidence and competency when faced with patients who want to leave against medical advice (AMA), and is able to appropriately follow the AMA protocols to help motivate patients to remain in treatment Assists patients with referrals to other facilities as needed or recommended by treatment team Consistently displays a willingness to help out where necessary in order to meet organizational needs Displays knowledge of basic counseling skills and techniques and is able to use these skills in working with patients Consistently displays a positive, caring attitude toward patients and other staff and exhibits a commitment and passion for their work Works in a cooperative way with a multidisciplinary team across the organization Displays a thorough knowledge of Cornerstone policies and procedures and consistently enforces these with Cornerstone patients Demonstrates an ability to communicate with outside referral sources and family members in a positive way that demonstrates competence and quality of care Reports to the facility clinical director Completes all other tasks and duties as assigned Job requirements:
LADAC or working toward licensure, experience in the addictions field preferered.
