LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5)

As a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-09, you will review and evaluate all operations, deployment, contingency and exercise plans to ensure mission readiness for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. Develop, manage and control Logistics Readiness Squadron training and career development programs. Compile and update status of Logistics Readiness Squadron, to include tracking and reporting of personnel, training, equipment and supplies. Coordinate, develop, and administer management training programs for supervisory personnel. Develop local training programs to accommodate supply procedural changes, and coordinates changes to other career field areas as directed, to improve operational effectiveness when management indicators reflect potential trouble areas. Experience:
1 year equivalent to the next lower grade of experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Knowledge of commonly used methods, procedures, Air Force (AF) and National Guard Bureau (NGB) regulations and guidance governing and relating to developing, presenting and managing mobility and training programs. Knowledge of the responsibilities of logistics plans and support functions. Knowledge of AF and NGB regulations in all the various functions of supply such as materiel management, materiel storage and distribution, supply systems, and supply operations support. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
