Zoom H4n H4N 4-Channel Handy Portable Field Digital Audio Recorder X/Y Mics with REMOTE CONTROL This is in perfect working order. Low Reserve, since it's no longer being used. I've upgraded to the Zoom R24's... an 8 channel field recorder/mixer. Not only does the H4N have a 90 or 120 degree XY mic (user definable)... but also allows for either 2 XLR input jacks, or 2 1/4", or one of each. It is a professional pocket field recorder, which allows the user to turn on Phantom Power (or not), depending on the type of external mic you are using. It worked amazingly well with a 1/4" stereo plug from a sound board, with the right and left mono inputs. And I've used it with a guitar plugged into one side, and vocals in the other. I've also used just the XY mics... and had the 'line out' directly feed the leveled sound directly to my camera. Because this records directly to an SD card, runs for hours on just two standard AA batteries, it makes for the perfect sound backup system for your videos. Works great with Booms, and wireless mic systems. Easy to carry, easy to use, works perfectly. It has a variety of awesome professional tools built in, like peaking, leveling, and some efx. This unit takes recording to a whole new place.
