Field & Stream Deluxe Canoe Carrier Kit Brand New New In Package, Never Used, but slight tear on 'carrying bag' - does NOT effect or impact the item, just the container it was sold in. This is specific to CANOES - with one 'block' fitting on two different locations on the 'top of the canoe' (any size) - then turned upside down on top of the roof of standard vehicle for transport. These blocks are fully adjustable, with TWO (2) END ROPES, ONE (1) CENTER EASY FRICTION STRAP, and FOUR (4) S HOOKS. This *might* work for some 'sit on top' kayak's, but I wouldn't suggest it for standard enclosed, hard shell kayak's OR INFLATABLES. This is very specific to CANOES - of ANY LENGTH or WIDTH (so long as it's narrower than the vehicle it's going on). Very flexible, adjustable, and easy to use. One person that can lift the canoe to the roof could do it, but TWO PEOPLE are recommended. MSRP is about $75 in most stores that sell canoe's. If taken care of, this kit could last a lifetime if you are just transporting a canoe too & from, and they aren't 'left out in the weather' or 'with pressure on them' except when in use.
